I used the Europe Lambert Conformal Conic projection for this map. After I posted it, I looked at the lecture again and realized I should change my legend. So I did that and reposted it. It definitely seems to be getting easier.

Good legend and map design. For next time I would try using transparent circles instead and there really is no need to have the countries different colors as it doesn't really mean anything. But the shadow is nice!
