Bad Map

Even though this map shows landmarks, there are no street names at all.  And even though this is in English, the landmarks that are on the map have a good chance of being written in Japanese Kanji.  Street names or numbers would be more helpful in finding this location.

Good Map

This is my good map.  This came out of our phone book.  It only shows important information, all the map clutter has been taken out that I can see.   This is very important information living in Okinawa.  Typhoons are very common here.

I have lived in many different states and a couple of different countries.  We are currently living in Okinawa, Japan.  We will be leaving here sometime later this year.  Since my husband will only have one more year to retire, I am looking for a job somewhere that hopefully we will want to stay for awhile and get our girls through college.  He will do his last year wherever he has to go and then join us after he retires.  

We really liked living in New Hampshire and would consider some of the New England states even though there would be more snow than I would like.  I wouldn't look for a job there unless I really can't find something anywhere warmer.  The last 9 years we've lived in very warm weather and I'm not sure if I could stand that much cold weather anymore.
